On a side note though.. why do they cry and mourn when their terrorists get killed if they worship death so much and cant wait to die as martyrs. Shouldn't they be happy at Israel for punching their paradise ticket?

The typical pro Palestinian inability to comprehend even a basic point. He or the quote did not start that they don't love their children. He said that peace will happen when their love for their children prevails over their desire to hurt Israelis.

Or you know... when Israel stops stealing land ... either way
Fun fact. In 2005 Israel pulled 10,000 settlers out of Gaza and dismantled all the settlements. They handed Gaza back to the Palestinians no questions asked. Two years later Hamas went to war with Fatah and took Gaza in a bloody coup. Then Hamas started firing endless rockets at Israel.
Giving land back to the Palestinians DIDN'T WORK. It didn't bring peace. It did do anything except make shit WORSE.
Funner fact: the pullout of Gaza was done by the Israelis with the express intent of making sure there would NEVER be peace - as you can read here from the senior adviser of the person who put it into play:
"The significance of the disengagement plan is the freezing of the peace process, and when you freeze that process, you prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state, and you prevent a discussion on the refugees, the borders and Jerusalem. Effectively, this whole package called the Palestinian state, with all that it entails, has been removed indefinitely from our agenda. And all this with authority and permission. All with a presidential blessing and the ratification of both houses of Congress. That is exactly what happened. You know, the term `peace process' is a bundle of concepts and commitments. The peace process is the establishment of a Palestinian state with all the security risks that entails. The peace process is the evacuation of settlements, it's the return of refugees, it's the partition of Jerusalem. And all that has now been frozen.... what I effectively agreed to with the Americans was that part of the settlements would not be dealt with at all, and the rest will not be dealt with until the Palestinians turn into Finns. That is the significance of what we did."[9]
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israeli_disengagement_from_Gaza
What made shit WORSE was Israel wanting shit to be WORSE.
But hey buddy - wouldn't want to interrupt your little circle jerk with actual facts - I know you pro-Israel guys HATE facts.
Did you read that statement before you posted it?
He straight up said the Palestinians were too chaotic and too violent for a successful peace plan to ever be implemented. They froze the process because the burden on the security needs of the Israelis would have been to great for the peace process to have ever worked out.
what I effectively agreed to with the Americans was that part of the settlements would not be dealt with at all, and the rest will not be dealt with until the Palestinians turn into Finns.
"When the Palestinians show they can negotiate on human terms and treat us in a non-violent way, like Finns would, then we can have a peace agreement."
You just cited a quote which validated the entire point of the article you are commenting on.
A former Israeli politician stated that the Palestinians are in a hyper-violent state and that is why they were forced to withdraw from the peace process at that time.
The article where you posted this is of a mother of a newborn Palestinian child saying that she hopes her son will grow up to join a death brigade and attack Israel.
Do you understand how that validates EVERYTHING about the statement you just cited. You attempted to argue against a thing which you went on to prove correct.

Who knew that if one superpower gave the land it colonized to a separate group than those it initially colonized it would infuriate and subjugate the already subjugated indigenous people of that land. Especially if that new occupier decided to continue the subjugation.
Who knew that if one superpower gave the land it colonized to a separate group..
Gaza was lost by Egypt in the 1967 war. And it that time in history the stated goal of the PLO was the "liberation of Palestine" through armed struggle. (see: destruction of Israel). Well the Egyptians and Palestinians failed to destroy Israel in '67 and consequently Egypt LOST Gaza.
It wasn't a bunch of primitive "natives" who were taken over so that Israel could colonize the land.
I was referring to the founding of Israel on the land formerly known as Palestine, land controlled by the British and gifted to found the nation of Israel. I don't begrudge the Israelis that live there now and call it home, but for many Palestinians, their ancestors were there before the Europeans gave the land away.
Palestine was given the same deal that Israel was.
Two peoples inhabiting the same area were given states they could live safely in. Israel accepted that offer and Palestine rejected it, instead they started the Arab-Israeli war which ended with them having nothing.
They had a chance for coexistence multiple times in the past and they rejected it.
They have a change to negotiate and end to this conflict today, they refuse to take it.
Victims don't have options. Palestine has options.

Of course I read the statement. It doesn't need all the twisting and manipulation that you're trying to do to it to understand it - it is very simple to understand.
The significance of the disengagement plan is the freezing of the peace process
The first line says it all.
The significance of the withdrawal was nothing more than to drag out the violence longer - the freezing of the peace process. That is why they did it.
It's very very simple to understand and validates my point entirely - the reason there isn't peace is because Israel doesn't want peace.
VERY simple.

So giving Gaza back to the Palestinians was a Jewish plot to make shit worse.
... aaaand that's the problem with guys like you moe... you can't even give Palestinians land back without it somehow being "a Jewish plot" to fuck them over.
How many excuses can you come up with to DENY that Hamas fucked it all up for everyone? My bet is hundreds of excuses. Maybe thousands of excuses.. because we all know Palestinians have no free will. Right?
edit: The disengagement COULD HAVE BEEN an unprecedented breakthrough for the Palestinians.. instead it lead to a catastrophic series of events (the Hamas takeover, Hamas rockets and 3 wars) that doomed progress. That's a fact. The Palestinians didn't make it a good thing, they turned it into a horrible thing.. and now 11 years later Hamas isn't ending their military dictatorship over Gaza.
A Jewish plot to fuck them over?
Tell me, what do Jews in New York have to do with this plot that I just described? What do Jews in Denmark or Jews in Sweden have to do with the plot I just described? For what reason are you trying to bring other Jews around the world into the vile deeds that have been committed in Israel's name? I expect you to answer these questions and not attempt to cower away from them.
Do you have a problem with Jews? No, I don't think that's it. I think you've looked at my argument and realized that there is nothing you can say in a logical sense that would prove me wrong so instead tried to pretend as if these were the actions of "Jews" and not just the actions of some racist war criminals.
All I am doing is showing you why the pullout happened in the words of the people who orchestrated it. They themselves didn't want peace.
The fact that you have a problem with that - something that happened before Hamas was ever put into power anyways (so I don't know why you're even talking about Hamas, but then again you pro-Israel guys tend to go more on rhetoric than fact) tells me what you really hate is Israel and you hate the fact that you have to accept that Israel has done some horrible things.
You are still in denial that Israel didn't want peace - even though I showed you a direct quote from the person who orchestrated the pullout that said that the whole idea was to ruin the chances for peace. Think about that for a minute.
What a shame.
I think you've looked at my argument and realized that there is nothing you can say in a logical sense that would prove me wrong..
Your argument is false. Why? Because it's what the Palestinians DID with Gaza. The Palestinians were given all of Gaza back and instead of cooperating with each other to change the future for the common good the Palestinians WENT TO WAR with each other to see who controls it, like two primitive tribes from the 5th century.
And here we are a fucking decade later and the Palestinians are deadlocked, unable to even make peace between themselves. It's pathetic that they can't even get along with each other.
edit: spelling

Thank you for this comment. The world needs to be able to criticize Israel without it being treated as a direct attack on the Jews, because it isn't. It's basically a strategy to make it impossible to say anything negative about the actions of the Israeli government without being made an anti-Semite, which is a complete fallacy. To deny the actions of any of today's powerful governments is just willful ignorance, especially in this case where the quote is directly from the person responsible for the "peace process".

Israel is about 20% Muslim and they've managed to survive. Europeans who are scared of refugees are a bunch of whiny cowards. The refugees are a very tiny percentage of the population of Europe and they don't have any weapons or money.

It's important to understand that occupied people don't consider their armed struggle to be terrorism but freedom fighting. In that context what the mother says doesn't sound so horrible. Imagine someone in America back in WWII saying I hope my kids grow up defending the country from communism or Soviet Russia. Sort of the same situation here.
