The story of Booster One
Iaroslav Neliubov: “ I loved computer games from my childhood, and now I can say it has had a tremendous impact on my life”. Because I studied to become an architect, it closely linked my life with computers and work in special software (3D max, Ps, Autocad, etc.).
I noticed that one simple action, for example zooming in or out on an image when working in photoshop normally takes between 3 and 5 seconds of scrolling the wheel on the mouse and that this action is necessary around 100 times every hour. 5sec x 100 times an hour is 8.3 minutes of scrolling every hour. That means, if you are working for 8 hours, you are spending around an hour a day scrolling the wheel on the mouse in order to zoom. Which is 5 hours a week or 11 days a year just scrolling!
As I researched ways to speed up these processes, I found that it was possible to manipulate simple functions with movements of the head. A simple prototype of the device was made to verify its usability. It worked !!!
Now, I just needed to figure out what to do with this new technology. The answer was easy! I would place it in gaming headphones!
I got an interesting way of additional control in my favorite games (Dota 2, CSGO, Star Craft). Which gave me an advantage over my opponents!
My friends supported this idea, and we put a team together to work on the project. Everyone agreed that this device opens the gamer’s sixth sense, and therefore called it Sixth Sense Technology - 6ST. Out first product is Booster One.

The first thing we did was buy and test existing gaming headsets in the market, analyzing them extensively. Having bought several samples of different gaming headsets, and testing them, we realized that their technological designs are not suitable for our development:
- One headband was not enough to secure the headphones on the head for precise gyroscope control.
- Headphones are not adjustable to fit everybody, due to the different head shapes and sizes,.
- The plastic used in some models is easily breakable.
- In some models, there where issues with the microphone, speakers, and elementary fasteners.
Realizing this, our team decided to create the world's coolest gaming headphones!
Finally, a pair of gaming headphones that meets our requirements has been developed:
- Reliable fixation on the head (regardless of the shape and size of the head), was achieved through the design of the headphones themselves.
- Two metal headbands, making them stronger and more reliable.
- The earpeace was made of aluminium, which also adds to the reliability of the model.
- moving ear cups, making Booster One as convenient as possible for individual use.
After approving the design, we started working on the structural units and the solutions. Ideas were so numerous that we had to limit ourselves.
- We decided to use metal housing and components to make Booster One unbreakable and reliable!
At the same time, electronic engineers and programmers of our team worked on the drivers and the software for individual settings. We also chose and developed the electronic parts (sensors, processors, wires).
We studdied all available information and interviewed hundreds of gamers. Now our prototype is ready!

Risks and challenges
We have been working on Booster One for 18 months. During this time, we have tested our product over and over. We have created a software for the individual settings and at the same time taken into account the specific gameplay of different games, and features of different people. In order to get a quality product, we have invited the best specialists in their fields to collaborate with us.
As with any hardware project, there are always schedule risks associated with manufacturing and supply chain logistics. We are working with a tier-one manufacturing partner that builds headphones for some of the most famous brands in the business. We figured out the logistics in partnership with one of the world leaders in supply chain management, and we have a well thought out plan of how to proceed after the Kickstarter project ends. Our main marketing strategy is based on a true passion for games and a love for our work.
