last update is filled with fake reviews from beta testers, all written it would seem by the same person whose second language is english.

they seem to have forgotten the last update is filled with comments from people who got picked to be 'beta testers', a delay tactic that made out some backers may actually get a product, but who have commented that they received nothing to test.

this definitely looks like its down with the titanic, just slower and with more profanity in the comments

Yeah I'm starting to think that way. Months ago I bought into this, it looks like a cool idea but it's taking forever to get the product. The last few Upstates talk about how the product didn't work right, then they said it did, then they said some shit about a select few people getting to beta test. I don't know anymore. It did take my friend 2 years to get his "Simple" card so who knows how long this will take.

Yeah I bought in for a bunch of these because I liked the idea. Each new update makes me think its less likely for them to ever turn up.

I hadn't seen this before.

It's actually a pretty cool idea that I'd be interested in for sure. Too bad it wasn't thought of by people who could actually pull it off.

This is why I don't back kickstarters though - too much risk. I'd rather just wait for it to become a product (if it's going to).

I was initially warm to the idea, but backed off after seeing a fuckton of "similar" projects popping up throughout the crowdfund space and Aliexpress. Also, none of this shit will matter when I do eventually convert everything towards USB-C.

The funniest thing is that after Znaps took off, there were a bunch of even less competent clones that popped up on IGG. Can't wait to see what happens to them.
