Just found out that your fileserve links actually aren't dead like most other fileserve links around after the whole Megaupload fiasco. ^^b

Is there a no DVD patch for this game? It gives the usual message about no disc being in the drive and so it won't start the game. (and I've tried it with the image mounted)

I'm wondering the same thing. I made an account just to ask this. When the game is mounted an error in japanese states that the game can't be installed from a virtual drive. You can still fully install the game but when the exe is run, all that appears is a black screen. The same thing happens with the bonus disc. Even when I use a burned disc the same error appears. It's strange that the first game in the series has better copy protection than the other two. If anybody actually got this to run I'd appreciate finding out how.

Ok i figured out how to play this game on windows7 and probably vista...

after you install it (ignoring the message that says it doesn't work with virtual disk) click on the game start button that's on the installer. You should then have the window of the game open, with simply a black screen (unless you've applied the vista patch (?) dunno didn't try the patch yet), then press alt+shift+enter, and the game should begin. After that, you no longer need the disk to open the game

Okay, so now that trick is working weird. Sometimes when I press Shift+Alt+Enter it doesn't work, or I have to hold the buttons down until the title loads.
