Appleの中間証明書の有効期限切れに伴い、2016年2月14日以前に作成したOS Xのインストールディスクが利用できない状態になっているそうです。詳細は以下から。

　Appleは現地時間2月14日、Mac App Storeの署名アルゴリズムをSHA-1からSHA-2へアップデートし、Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopardにもアップデートを提供しましたが、このアップデートが原因で、2016年2月14日以前に作成したOS Xのインストーラーが利用できない状態にあるとTidBITSが伝えています。


The Apple Worldwide Developer Relations Intermediate Certificate is required for all apps in the Mac App Store, including OS X installers. When used to sign an app, the certificate enables OS X to confirm that the app has not been corrupted or modified by an attacker. This certificate expired on 14 February 2016, causing error dialogs and preventing some apps from launching.

試してみた

　実際に昨年作成したOS X 10.11 El Capitanインストーラーで試してみましたが、OS Xの認証までは進むものの、その後「この OS X El Capitan インストール.app アプリケーションを検証できません。ダウンロード中に破損したか不正に変更された可能性があります」という警告が出現し、Mac App Storeから再度ダウンロードするように促されました。



　この問題はOS X 10.11 El Capitanだけでなく、YosemiteやMavericksなどにも影響するため、OS Xのインストールメディアやインストールアプリなどを保存してある方はMac App Storeから再度ダウンロードしてインストールディスクを作成し直す必要があるようです。

　*あまりお勧めしませんが、TidBITSにはOS Xを初期化する際にdateコマンドを利用してインストーラーの認証をバイパスする方法も記載されています。

If you are in the middle of an OS X install and get tripped up by the expired certificate, Randy Singer offers a suggestion on how you can work around the problem quickly, without having to download a new installer:

  1. In the OS X Installer, choose Utilities > Terminal.
  2. Enter date 0201010116 and press Return.
  3. Quit Terminal and continue the install

追記

　コメント欄で「昔のMacはもう初期化出来ないの？」という質問を頂きましたが、検証したところこの問題の影響を受けるのはAppleがOSとMacとの検証を行うバージョンからとなっており、インストールディスクが配布されているOS Xの場合は今までどおり利用できます。


SnowLeopard-Installer
*Mac OS X 10.7.5をOS X 10.8 Mountain Lionへアップグレードしているところ

　具体的にはMac App Storeでの配布が始まったMac OS X 10.7 LionまではAppleがMacに同梱しているインストールディスクがそのまま利用できますが、それ以降は再度 Mac App Storeからのダウンロードが必要となるようです。
